Taking overPiloting without a licence is very easy. No navigation experience is necessary. Once installed aboard, a technician will give you a few theoretical explications concerning the motor and the equipment, followed by the practical side and navigation. A few minutes will suffice for you to get used to the equipment and start piloting your boat with easy controls and manoeuvrability. All that remains is to choose your course........ Cruising speed is normally 6 to 8 km/h. |

Going through locksIn Anjou, they are small, few in number and easy to access owing to the small level differences. Anjou is the only region of France where from Easter to the 1st November a lock keeper will be on site almost every day. Whilst the passage through locks is included in the price it is both custom and courteous to make a gest towards the lock keeper. |

Notices and navigation mapsWhen you come aboard all the particularities of your itinary that you have chosen will be explained. Tourist brochures which explain the the curiosities and notable rendez-vous that should not be missed will be given to you. If you have not ordered your navigation map when you reserved, you can buy this before your departure (from 26 € to 35 € according to the region). It is perfectly clear and precise and will be useful throughout your voyage. The boat's information book which contains all the technical information will also be given to you. |

FuelOn departure, you will have a full tank. A gauge is activated and this calculates the number of hours spent navigating during your cruise. On your return, this number will be multiplied by the tariff applicable to the type of boat. (from 5.35 € to 7.60€/ hour of navigation, approximately 26 € to 38€/ day). |
